Announcement

Dear Patients,

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my decision to leave Junction City. For nearly 13 years, I have had the pleasure of building relationships with many of you, a privilege that has been much more than just a job to me. However, at this time, I have accepted a position at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, KS (near Great Bend) to practice with a longtime friend. I will be joining a group practice there. My last day seeing patients in Junction City will be March 15, 2012.

At this time, Geary Community Hospital is actively recruiting to fill the vacancy I am creating. It is unlikely that a replacement will be found in the next few months. I am advising all patients with chronic health conditions to find a physician here locally. I believe you will be in good hands with any of the physicians that practice at Geary Community Hospital. For urgent care needs, the hospital is temporarily opening up the AlphaCare clinic (located in Medical Arts 1) between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, starting March 19, 2012. Mike Beffa PA, who has worked in our office during Walk-in Clinic, will be staffing this clinic. In order to be seen, you must arrive by 9:00 a.m. I would encourage all my walk-in patients from the past, to show the hospital how much you appreciate the early morning walk-in hours by utilizing this service.

Your confidential medical records will remain here in Junction City, under the care of GCH Practice Management. Patients wishing to transfer your records to another physician, simply fill out a release and return it to
